The Milwaukee® 1-Inch x 18-Inch Ship Auger Bit is ideal for drilling holes into wood for running pipe, electrical conduit, wires and more. It features double wing spurs to give you a straighter, cleaner hole. This Milwaukee auger bit has a non-stick coating on the flutes that quickly ejects chips, so you spend less time cleaning the bit and more time getting your work done. The wood auger bit’s shank is impact-rated, which makes it tough enough to work with powerful impact drivers. The 20° rake angle, one-face design makes for easier sharpening and improves damage resistance from when you hit nails. At 18 inches long, this bit can drill through thick pieces, including framing with several 2-inch studs nailed together. The bit fits 7/16-inch shanks.
