Description
Ultimate 8 In. Workshop Stone Double-Sided Fine and Extra-Coarse Stone
For users wishing to flatten tools or flatten oil & water stones, the new double-sided classic professional fine/extra-coarse 8 In. diamond bench stone is ideal. The 180 grit extra-coarse side is used to initially flatten the tool, or oil & water stone. The fine 600-grit side is used to remove any scratches left after flattening tools such as chisels and plane irons, before fine honing & polishing. The fine side is also ideal for sharpening tools used by contractors, site workers and shop fitters. The stone is made from precision ground steel with the mono-crystalline diamonds which are set in nickel and offers an exceptional life span. The stone is 8 In. long, with 3 In. wide and has a thickness of 5/16 of an inch for stability. The extra-coarse side has clearance channels, which assist in the dispersion of residue from the tool, while the fine side is solid diamond plate. Use with lapping fluid. Supplied in fabric tool holder, includes non-slip mat and cleaning block. Instructions included.
