The 7-inch grinding wheel has a no-load speed of 8500 rpm, and the motor provides a torque of 124 inch-pounds for effortless grinding. The carbon brush auto-stop feature provides added motor protection. The safety switch prevents accidental start-up of the Metabo electric angle grinder. The Metabo VibraTech (MVT) integrated damping system and handle reduce vibrations by as much as 60-percent meaning that even prolonged use is comfortable. The wheel guard of this Metabo compact angle grinder is adjustable without the use any tools, and it will not twist. A locking device prevents the guard from sliding off the collar. Mount the side handle of this Metabo angle driver in any one of the three distinct positions for comfort and convenience. The main handle swivels to give better handling and precise control while cutting.
